• House Mice

  Light grey with tails the length of their bodies, big ears and small eyes, house mice are found all throughout Canada. These creatures are able to run, jump, climb and swim and have a keen sense of smell and sound.

• Deer Mice

  The most common mice throughout North America, deer mice are typically found in urban areas and large open grasslands or marshes.  Deer mice have white feet, a white belly, brown body, a bi-coloured tail and big buggy eyes.  Like most rodents, they are most active at night.  Deer mice commonly feed on seeds and insects, which make them seem like less of a threat, however it is important to note that these mice are associated with HPS, which is a harmful virus.
